When you arrive, you will meet your new state-certified instructor and passionate about water sports. He will then provide you with a short safety briefing so that the session takes place in the best conditions and so that the children can make the most of the session in complete safety.
The young people will then be invited to take a seat in their kayak, accompanied by their instructor. The descent begins in a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, with calm waters that allow children to become familiar with their kayak and practice basic paddling skills. Children will be guided throughout the session so that they can take appropriate passages.
The course is perfectly suitable for children and offers rapids appropriate to their skill level. They will be encouraged to actively participate in the descent, by paddling and helping their guide navigate the river.

Description of Kayak descent 12km Vallon Pont d'Arc-Enfant
During a Ardèche stay, enjoy 12 kilometers of descent in canoe-kayak between Sampzon and the strong>Arc Bridge. This experience will allow you to discover the sublime landscapes of the Ardèche gorges at your own pace.This activity is ideal for families, it allows you to discover the region in a different way, taking the time to stop wherever you want. Throughout the 12 kilometers that make up your descent you can swim or stop for a snack in the shade of the trees.
To begin, the instructors will give you some safety rules to follow and will equip you with a life jacket. You will also have watertight containers at your disposal to allow you to store your belongings without the risk of them getting wet.
Then, board a minibus to go to the starting point of your activity. You will have the opportunity to choose your boat between a canoe and a kayak. The instructors can help you with this choice. Please note that minors cannot board without an adult present with them.
Then take as much time as you want to descend the 12 kilometers. The first part is quite quiet, it allows you to take charge of your boat or to swim if you wish. The second part is a little more fun because it has 4 slides to go down, something to amuse both children and adults!
Finally, you pass under the very famous Pont d’Arc, a natural wonder to end your experience. It’s already the end of the adventure, a minibus takes you back to the base so you can collect your car.
