Discovery of Via Ferrata La Pichona 2h30

Give yourself the opportunity to discover in the great outdoors, the joy of extreme sports, the risk and the thrills! All this in an idyllic setting in the Pyrénées-Orientales.

You will set off on a discovery tour of thevia ferrataknown as la Pichona for a total duration of two and a half hours of activity.

The departurewill be from Lesquerde, in the via ferrata car park, where you can equip yourself and discover the first instructions. You will go for a ten-minute walk to the adventure location which will last an hour and a half in total and where you can have fun.

Plan a nice half-day to venture into this wonderful journey, from the age of six years old, in the heavenly heights of Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet. You will cross rock walls and small obstacles on the route which will make the activity even more entertaining, and in front of the place where you will stand, unique and fascinating views, which will remain engraved in your mind.

The instructors provide you with the via ferrata equipment:

• harness
• lanyards with shock absorption system
• carabiners
• helmet
• pharmacy backpack.

Equipment that complies with current CE, UIAA and PPE standards, which is checked regularly in order to maintain the highest safety.

For your part, it would be preferable if you bring a fairly sporty outfit, loose clothing in which you will feel quite comfortable, closed sports shoes or hiking shoes. And also so you don't miss anything during the hike, a bottle of water and cereal bars, and sunscreen.
