Centre Nautique Municipal de Plouescat

Plouescat Municipal Nautical Center has been attached to the town of Plouescat since 1984. The site offers nautical activities all year round.

Plouescat these are:
-Three full-time employees.
-8 to 10 federal sailing and tank instructors.
-6 assistant instructors in training each year.

Missions of the nautical center employees:

-Develop the nautical offering at the resort in high season.
-Propose coherent educational cycles to Plouescataise schools.
-Welcome social integration and disability groups.
-Coordinate the sporting practice organized and managed by the Association Sportive Voile Plouescat.

The equipment is provided by the nautical center: iso-thermal suit for sailing and kayaking activities, however you must bring a pair of shoes and a waterproof windproof jacket (shoes and warm clothing that can get wet).

Private sailing lessons:

Municipal Nautical Center of Plouescat Ecole Nautiques offers you different internship options.

-Junior catamaran course for 11-14 year olds:
A maximum of 8 to 10 children (4 Hobie Teddy boats) are supervised by a sailing instructor.
Duration of the course: 5 half days (morning or afternoon).

-Catamaran course adult for over 13s:
A maximum of 8 to 10 trainees (4 boats) are supervised by a sailing instructor
Duration of the course: 5 half days (morning or afternoon).

-Schools in sand yachting, sailing and sea kayaking.
-Social integration and disability groups.
-Works councils.

For sand yachting activities, a helmet is provided; however, bring shoes and appropriate windproof clothing: shoes and warm clothing that can get wet.
