Gabare Copeyre offers you an aquatic adventure in the Lot Valley.
The center offers Gabare walks around Puy l'Evèque! Outings in Gabarre are accompanied by a guide who will help you discover the different stories of the Lot. The Gabares are completely ecological since they are entirely electric.
The center also allows you to rent small electric boats without needing to have a boat license: gabarots. These small, comfortable and charming boats are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities!

Enjoy a boat trip withGabare Copeyre, to discover the Lot valley in the heart of the Cahors vineyards while respecting the environment. With our electric barge which releases 0 co², you will observe the fauna and the prestigious sites around Puy l'Evêque without noise, letting yourself be rocked along the water .
We offer two durations of guided tours aboard our ecological boat powered by an electric motor: 1 hour and 2 hours tour with passage through a lock.
Navigation on the Lot River will reveal the towpaths that the oxen and horses traveled while pulling the barges. During the visit, you will learn that the barges went down and up the waterway loaded with the most diverse goods. Indeed, the Lot was a merchant river until the end of the 19th century. You will discover the fortified houses all along the river which served as toll gates and surveillance. You will also enjoy passing through the lock while listening to stories about the barge and the Lot river told by our guide.

You are in the Lot department and you want to enjoy the river...but you have already done canoeing, pedal boating, kayaking...You would like to rent a boat but you do not have a boat license!
With Copeyre's license-free boats, it is possible to discover the Lot Valley aboard an electric boat even without a boat license! Indeed, Copeyre is happy to present this new technology to you, accessible to all because a person with reduced mobility can even pilot the boat!
These license-free boats were launched in April 2013 in Puy l'Evêque. 8 people can sit on this ecological boat or one person in a wheelchair and 2 passengers. The boat is therefore ideal for going with family or friends on the Lot river for the day to stroll, picnic...and even fish!
A pontoon has been specially set up to accommodate people with reduced mobility.
The walks range from 1 hour with a price of 40€ to 8 hours for 150€. It is possible to rent these electric boats in Puy l'Evêque from April to November.
