Pirogue & Surf is a school and leisure center created for 12 years now. Its objective is to introduce you to water board sports and to introduce you to a very well-known part of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques.

It is based on the city of Bayonne, in the city center and offers several activities which each bring a different sensation and experience. Out of the ordinary adventures that you will certainly remember for a long time. Among these, Pirogue & Surf offers canoe trips. It is a boat which comes to us from the island of Hawaii, used most often in the sea as a canoe, which has a significant reception capacity. It can in fact accommodate up to five or six passengers. Its narrow shape gives it the ability to glide perfectly on the water. And to keep a good balance, the canoe is equipped with a large outrigger on the side.

Thanks to this boat, the school offers you the following trips:

• The gourmand: a half-day stroll, which, in addition to showing you the area, also lets you taste local food products.
• The curious: an outing allowing you to navigate the two rivers of the Nive and the Adour, while visiting Bayonne in an original way.

Pirogue & Surf is also a surf school that allows you to explore this board sport, as well as the adrenaline rush that it provides. The latter offers private or group lessons adapted to the level of the participants. You can book from one to five group lessons, to be sure to progress in surfing. Private lessons can have a maximum of two people per session.

Stand Up Paddle is also an activity that the school offers. Walks on the river or on the sea are suggested to meet your demand for this sport which is becoming more and more adored by fans ofoutdoor sportsand especially fans of sports water.

Pirogue & Surf is a water board sports school, which allows you to discover the city of Bayonne and its surroundings through an adventure aboard an original boat that can accommodate up to six people. This is the canoe. This is a Hawaiian boat, fun, stable and very easy to handle, for an unforgettable sliding session on the water.

This boat is mainly used on the sea, but this is not a rule. This school prefers to have you sail on the Nive, but also the Adour, two rivers in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department. With a team of surf experts, you will be supported during your sessions according to your level. It was created in 2010 by a Basque passionate about nature and board sports. It aims to introduce people to both the region and board sports. Open from Easter to All Saints' Day, it delights holidaymakers as well as locals.

The structure is therefore located in Bayonne, in the city center. Bayonne is a French commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department. It is located not far from Biarritz and Anglet and has many rivers.

Pirogue & Surf invites you to discover Stand Up Paddle, an ideal sliding activity to discover the region at your own pace and spend a pleasant and quiet time on the water.

You can choose between a Stand Up Paddle ride on the river or on the sea. In fact, you will have the possibility to choose between the following two options:

• 2 hours of Stand Up Paddle in the river on three rivers of your choice
• 1 hour 30 minutes of Stand Up Paddle at sea in the Bay of Saint Jean de Luz.
