SpéléOrizon

SpéléOrizon is a team of mountain enthusiasts who will offer you the opportunity to practice unique activities in the Vercors, but also in Isère! You will have the opportunity to practice many outdoor sports, under the supervision of professionals who will take you to the most beautiful spots in the Vercors, but also close to Valence or Grenoble.

You will have the opportunity to discover mountain sports: caving, canyoning, climbing, but also to escape during hikes or cool off in white water sports!

You will be supervised by Martin Couturieux. Always passionate about nature and sport, and practicing for many years, he has made a career out of it! With kayaking as his favorite sport, he was able to open up new horizons and pass the various diplomas allowing him to teach you the different activities offered today in this new project that is SpéléOrizon.

The structure provides you with the necessary equipment for an outing in complete safety and comfort. In addition, the activities are accessible to everyone since certain courses are open to children from the age of 4. Whether you go for a climbing, canyoning, rafting, canoeing or hiking trip, you will enjoy authentic sensations

SpéléOrizon and its team of professionals will accompany you in the canyons of Vercors and Isère!

Around the Vercors:

The Ecouges canyon:
A lower part, offering the possibility of a beautiful half-day with many slides and jumps.
An upper part, more technical or we chain great reminders ... a thrill! We will do this route for the day, ending with the lower part of the canyon.

The Furon canyon:
Two portions for this canyon of discovery accessible to the greatest number, from 12 years old.

The versoud canyon:
a very fun canyoning where young and old will have fun. A family outing.

We also offer canyons in the Charterhouse (infernet, craponoz), and around Annecy (Angon).

The center has the advantage of being in a unique region for canyoning. Your instructor will take you to a service adapted to your level and your desires thanks to three options to choose from:

• Discovery Canyoning : the outing is for half a day and remains accessible to everyone, even to the youngest from the age of 12. Several practice sites are possible, from the Gorges du Furon to Ecouges, via the Infernet!
  
• Canyoning Adventure : Go into a canyon for 4 to 6 hours of thrills! You will enjoy abseiling in slightly more technical parts of the Ecouges canyon or the Furon Gorges.
  
• Sporting Canyoning : Reserved for the most remembrances, this service will surprise you and make you experience an intense moment in the wild landscapes of the Ecouges canyon (integral), the Ruzand canyon and its waterfalls, Le Craponoz du next to Crolles with its vertical passages!

Indulge yourself in the wild nature and enjoy swimming, walking in the canyons, jumps and sensations!
During a torrent descent, we cross obstacles using different techniques: jump, toboggan, abseiling ... sensations guaranteed

SpéléOrizon Canoë takes you on a ride on the rivers of the Drôme.

Treat yourself to a ride on the water in the company of your loved ones. The centre's instructors await you at Châtillon en Diouas for a relaxing experience on the water. canoeing is an activity that does not require any specific technique or knowledge. You just need to know how to swim to embark on a unique trip on the most beautiful rivers of the Drôme.

The center provides you with the equipment you need. The instructors will equip you with a life jacket, helmet and give you some advice for a peaceful descent.

Dare to canoe kayak in Diois and discover the landscapes of the region with ease. The center also organizes outings on demand for groups and companies. Multi-activity adventures are also offered.

SpéléOrizon gives you the opportunity to come and have a good time on the Drôme in a kayak.

The kayaking is the flagship activity of the center. In fact, your instructor is basically a kayaker with great experience, passionate about white water and kayaking techniques in general. He will be able to guide and advise you to offer you a tailor-made activity.

You will have the opportunity to leave from Châtillon en Diouas for a kayaking experience that meets your expectations. The kayak trip can be based on relaxation, but also on the sporting side if you wish. You will leave for the day by reservation for an adventure adapted to your desires.

Specific services are reserved for groups and companies. The distribution of the material is done on site. Embark on an adventure!

SpéléOrizon invites you to embark on the rivers of Haute Savoie in rafting.

Come have fun on the region’s rivers and fill up on sensations during an unforgettable group outing. You will enjoy the tumultuous rivers of Haute Savoie, and in particular on the Giffre or the Dranse.

You will be accompanied by whitewater specialists, and will be able to indulge yourself in this thrilling activity. rafting is practiced in groups. You are the engine of the boat and your guide will act as coxswain to steer the boat.

Rafting trips take place only for the day and are organized by reservation. You will spend a unique moment in the company of your loved ones. Treat yourself to beautiful sensations on the river with the services of rafting on the Dranse or on the Giffre!

SpéléOrizon takes you caving. You will be able to discover the techniques and the practice, but also to explore a unique world in all its natural specificities!

Your instructor will discuss with you the various themes related to the underground nature of the land: discover the concepts of geology, underground hydrology, bio speleology, but also the history and formation of the environment.
In the heart of the Vercors, many caves are accessible and will surprise you. The instructor offers you various services:

• Child caving : easy and accessible underground routes from 5 years old.
• Discovery caving : from 8 years old, enjoy the cavities around Lans en Vercors and small abseiling descents.
• Adventure caving : enjoy caving in the Grotte de Gournier, the Favot grotto or the Cuves de Sassenage! Breathtaking cavities with underground rivers and technical passages.
• Sports caving : Set off on the Dent de Crolles, or the crossing of the Trou qui Souffle for an outing in the kilometers of tunnels in Méaudre or St Hilaire.

You will enjoy an outing all year round, whatever the weather, and will take advantage of the equipment necessary for the practice on site.

SpéléOrizon offers you to go on hikes off the marked trails. You will enjoy the mountain landscapes in the company of a guide who will take you just as well for a walk as for a trekking session.

The center offers you days of hiking in the heart of the Vercors. You will leave in the Grand Veymont from St Agnat en Vercors. This outing offers you 6 hours of outdoor hiking. You will also have the opportunity to cross the Ranc des Agnelons.

If you wish, you can go on several days in a unique trekking, for example on:

• The tour of Mont Blanc : enjoy an outing between 3 countries for a 9-day hike .
• Crossing Reunion Island : go on a 2-week trip to this volcanic island and discover the gems of the region.
