Cani-Raquette hike at Plateau de Bayard 1 hour

Looking for a new activity to try this winter? Are you in Hautes-Alpes? We bring you a new adventure that can make your free winter days much more fun.

This is a cani-snowshoe hike, in which you will discover the landscapes of the Southern Alps, in the company of a Nordic canine to which you will be connected by a damped lanyard. It's an activity that will allow you to have fun, exercise and get away from it all, but above all to discover snowshoe hikes in a whole new way.

In the department of Hautes-Alpes, and towards the town of Gap, you will discover sumptuous landscapes covered in snow, from the Gap station -Bayard and more precisely on the Bayard plateau. This town is located between Tallard (20 min by car) and Orcières (40 min by car), but also 40 minutes from Embrun .

When you arrive next to the resort restaurant, an instructor will be waiting to welcome you and give you a briefing. During the briefing, you will learn more about this winter activity, in terms of progress, techniques, but also the safety measures to be applied.

The instructor will then prepare you for the activity, then launch the start. For an hour, you will set off at the pace of the dog to discover fabulous panoramas far from the crowds.
