Bureau des Guides de Samoëns invites you to share with them the magic of the mountains by practicing outdoor sports accessible to all.
The mountain instructors and guides await you inthe Giffre Valley and in Samoëns,and will offer you many activities to practice in summer or winter:

• Hikes: discover the mountain pastures or legendary hikes such as the Tour du Mont Blanc or the Dents Blanches. Children's outings will always be on the agenda.
• Climbing and mountaineering : Go on the Great Routes or offer a junior course for children!
• Via ferrata : Many via ferrata await you for half a day but also for a full day for the more sporty. A non-vertical via cordata will also delight novices!
• Caving : Come learn more about the underground world at the Jean Bernard chasm.
• Canyoning: go on descents in the heart of a mineral environment in the region's canyons such as Giffre, Le Clevieux, Groin, or Pont du Diable for example.
• Mountain biking : Outing for beginners and experts alike to discover the Haut Giffre Valley by mountain bike!
• Snowshoes: Original outings await you, from a simple snowshoe ride to a weekend escape.
• Ski touring: Discover the sea of ice, the Aiguille du Midi and the legendary Vallée Blanche on skis!

The Guides Bureau also offersspecial outings for school groups and communities, to be organized over a week or as an introductory cycle for a specific activity.

The Samoens Guides Office takes you to an idyllic setting to practice canyoning in the most beautiful areas of the region.

You will go to different canyons during group half-day services! In initiation, you can go on Le Clevieux. For more sensations, outings are organized on the canyon of Balme, that of Giffre, of Nyon, or the canyon of Foron…

The center offers day trips in more technical canyons such as Pont du Diable, Angon…

The canyons of Haute Savoie have many surprises in store for you and will make you enjoy abseiling, swimming passages, walking in the canyons! The instructors give you the necessary equipment and accompany you in the canyons for your safety as well as to give you the right advice at the right time!

The Bureau des Guides de Samoëns invites you to leave your mark on the snowy terrain of the mountain.

Enjoy a sealskin climb to the heights of the mountain and descend on ski touring. You descend to the most beautiful areas of Chamonix, the Vallée Blanche or the Aiguille du Midi.

A guide can also take you to the areas of the region! Want to slide ski at the Portes du Soleil or Argentière ? Don't hesitate to ask them for advice. An instructor will accompany you to allow you to ski in complete safety.

The center also offers heliskiing services for off-piste lovers. The helicopter can drop you off in the Aosta Valley, the Petit Combin, the Gaut Val d'Hérens ... but also abroad! Go to Russia or Turkey and live an unforgettable and exceptional moment!

Bureau des Guides de Samoens Snowshoes offers you original outings in the heart of winter.

Discover the mountain trails and indulge yourself during snowshoe outings adapted to your desires. You will have the choice between many services:

• Half day : You will leave with a guide who will take you on themed hikes to make you discover the fauna, flora and landscapes of the valley in winter
• Night Snowshoes and Igloo : Enjoy an evening of snowshoeing with an Eskimo aperitif. Savoyard fondue and igloo will be there
• Ruisseling : a wild ride on the frozen streams of Haute Savoie on snowshoes! An unusual outing for everyone!
• Itinerant raid : snowshoe raid from 1 to 6 days in the surroundings of the Haut Giffre massif
• Weekend Evasion : Treat yourself to an extraordinary weekend in the surroundings of Samoëns. This is the opportunity to take a break from your daily life and escape to the heart of the mountains.

The center also offers à la carte outings allowing you to go as you wish, for as long as you want. It is also an opportunity to mark an event! Enjoy a cake in an igloo on the occasion of a children's birthday party, for example!

Bureau des Guides de Samoens offers leisure hikes for families or athletes depending on your level, in order to discover the magic of the Haut Giffre Valley.

Enjoy an outing with an instructor in the middle mountains, in the heart of a magical and wonderful world! The center offers a program established over a week with different outings suitable for all types of practitioner!

You can go to the summits of the Giffre Valley, a walk to discover marmots or chamois, special children's hiking days ... Some outings are punctuated by snacks, raclettes, and discoveries of local heritage!

For the more athletic, weekly hikes are organized. Embark on the Tour du Mont Blanc or the Dents Blanches.

In between, you will find outings over 2 or 3 days with nights in one of the many mountain huts. Cross Samoëns, discover the Cirque du Fer à cheval…

Bureau des Guides de Samoens takes you into the world of verticality with its climbing services!

Climbing with the center will allow you to embark on the main routes of the area while enjoying spots on the Mont Blanc, Morzinoise or Copains d´Abord massif. Limestone or Granite, you will have the choice between many possibilities of ascent!

The guides office also offers Climbing school for children services. Internships are planned for the week for young people from 5 years old. Children can learn in complete safety the natural gestures relating to climbing, belaying and the discovery of autonomy.

Introductory and advanced courses will be offered to climbers wishing to embark on climbing courses in Haute Savoie on Rock and on Ice . Launch yourself on the cliff of Tines and in the Prealps.

Bureau des Guides de Samoens Via Ferrata offers you a unique outing dedicated to adventure and the mountains.

The mountain guides will be at your disposal to accompany you on the various via ferratas in the region . They are able to take you on any type of route depending on your level. You will leave for half a day, on the Via ferrata du Mont à Sixt Fer à cheval, on the via de Curalla, on Avoriaz…

Two via ferratas are available for the day : La Tour du Jallouvre and Les Saix de Miolene.
If you are still a novice in the practice of via ferrata, and you are looking for a fun route without technical difficulty, you will have the opportunity to embark on the Via Corda Alpina des Mottets.

The equipment is provided to you, and you will have a helmet, a harness, a via ferrata line and a shock absorber.

Bureau des Guides de Samoens Spéléologie takes you into a mythical abyss: the Jean Bernard abyss!

Located in Foilly, the Gouffre Jean Bernard will surprise you with its geological characteristics, its spaces and its reliefs hidden under the surface. This vertical outing is rather reserved for participants who have already practiced caving , and wishing to fill up with sensations.

You will also have the possibility of embarking on the caves of Mégevette or Balme which are a perfect start for a initiation to caving. The mountain guides offer you all the necessary technical equipment, from wetsuits to individual lighting.

The Bureau des Guides de Samoens takes you to the Haut Giffre valley by mountain bike!

Unique outings will allow you to practice mountain biking in the Haut Giffre , whatever your level. The guides take you with their bikes on routes adapted to the participants, from beginners to experts.

During the summer months, you can climb the mountain using the ski lifts, and enjoy descents to Samoëns or Morillon.

The instructors, Florian and Manue, also offer mountain biking trips based on escape. You will leave for weekends organized according to a calendar. Everyone will find the mountain bike weekend adapted to their desires: beginner, expert, cross country ...

You will have the opportunity to go on à la carte mountain bike raids , and indulge yourself in several-day outings through the most beautiful landscapes of our country: Grand Tour du Jura, Haut Giffre or any other destination of your choice.
