Bureau des Guides Serre Chevalier takes you onsnowshoe walks in the heart of the Hautes Alpes.

Thesnowshoe makes winter mountain hiking accessible to everyone, whatever your age. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the region and the mountains in winter: discover the fauna and its adaptation to the cold climate, the forests and life in the high valleys, but also mountain safety!
Mountain guides take you on exceptional outings:

• Go snowshoeing for a half day: you will discover the Serre Chevalier valley, the villages and hamlets…
• Go for a day in the snow: go for 4 to 6 hours of snowshoeing in the Clarée or Cervières valleys for example, and enjoy a picnic with the family!
• Night snowshoe outings in the Hautes Alpes: leave in the light of the moon, and embark on a snowshoe walk under the stars. A typical meal is planned at the end of the hike.
• Multi-day outings : go for a weekend, a traveling or star raid on La Clarée, Queyras, Ubbaye…

If you have a specific project, the guides are able to offer you tailor-made outings.

Bureau des Guides Serre Chevalier invites you to go and stock up on fresh air and oxygen during a hike in the Hautes Alpes.

Walking is a unique way to recharge your batteries and fill up on adventure, while rediscovering the region’s heritage. You will go hiking in the mountain valleys of Briançonnais, and will be able to reach the peaks at an altitude of 3000 meters.

Themountain guideswill take you to the most beautiful sites to meet the eagles of the mountain pastures, to discover the geological formations, mines and other riches of our mountains.

walking activities are also organized for children aged 6 to 12 years. Itineraries for families are offered so that you can all go on a multi-generational hike together!

For athletes, the center organizes hikes over several days, on request for groups or on schedule.

Serre Chevalier Guides Office takes you climbing in Briançonnais. The diversity of cliffs, rocks and walls will allow guides to take you climbing in the Hautes Alpes, whatever your level.

Many services will be offered to you. You can start in rock school, improve in climbing schoolor during a climbing course. If you are already an experienced climber, you will be able to:

• Enjoy yourself on long routes reaching 600 meters in height
• Enjoy a sporty route, adapted to your climbing level and accompanied by the office’s qualified instructors.
• Participate in cliff races

Cliffs of Freissinières, summits of Montbrison, Grand Briançonnais, Durance Valley… If you have a particular spot in mind for climbing, the climbing instructors at the Guides office offer tailor-made cliffs for you.

Serre Chevalier Guides Office takes you on adizzying walk with the via ferrata!

You will have the opportunity to discoverseveral types of Via Ferrata,whether half day or full day. The easiest via ferrata are accessible from the age of 8, notably the Bez via ferrata.
You can also get started on:

• La Via Ferrata des Vigneaux : This route will give you an incredible panorama of the Durance valley. This relatively easy outing is accessible from 10 years old and takes place over half a day.
• The Via Ferrata of Briançon: Spend a good time on the walls of this exceptional route. You will enjoy the view of the old town, and all its architectural features… from the cliff wall! a colorful outing (10 years minimum)!
• The Via Ferrata of the Aiguilette du Lauzet : Discover the Cerces and its fauna, while moving along the wall. From 12 years old.
• The Freissinières Via Ferrata : discover the valley in this day-long via ferrata which will welcome you from the age of 12.

You are accompanied by a professional guide, and connected to a lifeline for maximum safety throughout the adventure. However, the equipment is not included and you will need to rent it before going there.
