Cano-Raft discovery on the Ubaye 1/2 day

How about discovering the canoraft? This perfect mix between canoeing and rafting will allow you to discover new sensations within the splendid Alpine River of the Ubaye.

Departing from the high mountain village of Vars, you will meet your instructor who will accompany you throughout the crossing. Experienced and professional, he will explain all the safety instructions you need to know, especially if it's your first time.

On the program, thrills and adrenaline aboard this raft on an area of the river class II to III on VI. Arm yourself with your paddles and take advantage of a current that will make you descend with speed. Your guide will help you understand the waves and the rapids. The waterfalls and the current will give you thrills that you will find difficult to control!
You will need to show good team spirit and coordination so that your cano-Raft does not turn over. On approximately 10 km of descent, you will appreciate sometimes the beauty of the landscapes, sometimes the intensity of this river.

But you don't have to be a top athlete to cano-raft. You just need to know how to swim and be able to immerse yourself. Although it seems extreme, this water sport is accessible to everyone and at any age. Supervision by your guide will allow you to enjoy these intense sensations, in complete safety!
