Discovery rafting on the Ubaye - Half day

Just a few kilometers from the Italian border, discover rafting on the splashing Ubaye rapids! Breathtaking landscapes, sensational rapids… in the heart of theHautes-Alpes, Ubaye has everything to seduce you! Embark on a discovery of thehigh mountain landscapesthrough the valleys carved out by the torrents that crisscross them.

Depending on your level, our team of passionate and experienced instructors has put togetherseveral itinerariesfor you:

• The discovery excursion: accessible to all, it is listed II/III according to the classification of white water courses and is carried out on the upstream part of the Ubaye. In a group, on an inflatable boat, you will learn to navigate the tumultuous waters and use your team spirit!

• The sporting excursion: intended for a more experienced public, it is classified III/IV and takes place in the downstream portion of the river, which allows you to travel through mythical rapids in the Hautes-Alpes! Ideal for a vigorous outing with friends, full of laughter, falls and thrills.

You will be accompanied throughout the activity by a state-certified guide, who will ensure your safety and orientation in the watercourse. All the material (wetsuits, raft, flotation vest, helmet, paddle) is provided by our team and is of excellent quality to guarantee you a moment of sharing without hassle.

Practical information:

• It is necessary to be sufficiently comfortable in an aquatic environment (know how to swim and submerge) to carry out the activity.

• We will meet you at our activity base and we will take you by shuttle to the river.

• Bring sports shoes, which will inevitably get wet during the activity.
