Tallard skydiving centre is located 2 kilometres from Tallard, in the heart of the Alpes de Haute Provence department, between lake and mountain. It offers incredible aerological conditions thanks to the 300 days of sunshine it gets every year, making it one of the best spots for skydiving and ideal for the first flight.

As a result, you'll have the option of doing a tandem flight in Tallard, but that's not all!

• Tandem flight: For individuals who have never gone skydiving before, this option is suitable for their first flight. Following a briefing with your instructor, you will jump in pairs, tethered to your teacher, over 4000 metres above the ground for a one-minute free fall. After that, your instructor will allow you to manage the parachute for around 5 minutes. Then he'll have to relinquish control to land safely.

Don't be concerned about the essential equipment. Overalls and safety glasses will be provided by the staff. Just make sure you've dressed appropriately for the activity.

• Initiation flight: This solo parachute jump is for you if you want to be the true master of your travels. You will make the jump of your life, or at least the first, after a half-day of training with quality instructors to prepare you and teach you all the mechanics of the parachute jump. You do not need to have done a tandem jump before attempting this jump. In a tandem jump, you will fall at full speed for about a minute before your instructor will lead you to the ground. They will lead you by giving you instructions via a radio built into your helmet that will allow you to correct your position and manage your soft landing.

• PAC training: If the introductory flight was a revelation for you and you want to keep the experience going by honing your abilities and techniques, the PAC training is for you. The PAC (accompanied progression in free fall) programme is the first skydiving school for people who want to be autonomous skydivers. You will be able to leap a total of seven times, the first six in the company of two instructors and the last jump solo. This 4 or 5-day training will provide you with a certification that will allow you to parachute jump everywhere in France and overseas!

What are the requirements to do skydive jump?


To skydive in Tallard, a few requirements must be met, including parental permission for all youngsters aged 15 and up, a weight limit of 110kg, and a medical certificate stating that skydiving is not restricted. Your general practitioner will grant you a permit to practise skydiving.

During your parachute trip, you will also have the opportunity to shoot photos and movies to remember your amazing adventure. You will be able to hire a videographer to film the various stages of your tandem jump, including the equipment on the ground, the climb in the plane, free fall, and, of course, the landing. There is also the option of using an onboard camera to record a movie in selfie mode. It's unfathomable to have such an experience and not remember anything about it, let alone be able to show the rest of the world that you had the confidence to skydive!
